insignificant

You couldn’t get much lower than a servant who has run away from their mistress and finds themselves in the wilderness, without hope, direction, and provision. That’s where we find Hagar, a servant of Sarai. For background, read Genesis 15:1-6, and 16:1-14. In 16:11b from the Amplified, “…God hears; because the Lord has heard and paid attention to your affliction.” “So she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, ‘You are a God of seeing…'” (v. 13a).
If He saw her and met her at her most desperate need, He is willing to meet you at yours. Remember, He is a Servant. He has a servant’s heart. He sent His Son Jesus to serve us. No one is too low for Him, nor their circumstances too low for Him to meet them there, provide for, and encourage them. 🙂
