ripples and tidal waves

March 20, 2013

Obscure means out of sight; hidden; inconspicuous. * Synonyms of obscure are: lowliness, privacy, ambiguity, namelessness, seclusion.**

Elijah was from an obscure village but he became a household name. You may be “nameless” in society. Enjoy your privacy, that you are able to go out in public and not followed by the media. It doesn’t mean God can’t use you. If you’re truly yielded to Him and obedient to what He gives you to do, you can watch Him transform lives of people around you. One life affected is so worth it, even if they are obscure as well. They, in turn, will have a ripple effect on the people in their lives. So loosen up. Just do what He tells you to do. Create your ripple. Leave the tidal wave to Him.
