commit, lean, and hope

August 31, 2015

“You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.” Isaiah 26:3, Amplified

  1. Is my mind inclined to stay focused on God?
  2. Does my character truly show that I trust God?

A personal example of trusting God was taught to me during a two year employment as Security where I walked the entire property of my employer twice each night.  There were a few hair-raising experiences during that time.  At first I had constant fear because I didn’t see God in the picture.  By the end of two years of this I found that before I even left the building I either trusted God or I didn’t.
