“When life is good, enjoy it. But when life is hard, remember: God gives good times and hard times, and no one knows what tomorrow will bring.” – Ecclesiastes 7:14, New Century Version.

We can’t enter a new season until the other season is over.  Sometimes a new season is triggered by a painful death of a different season. God never wastes anything.  There’s a timing for everything.  To embrace our season is to embrace God.

“There is a time to look for something and a time to consider it lost. There is a time to keep things and a time to throw things away.” – Ecclesiastes 3:6, Easy-to-Read Version

Two things happen when we embrace our season:

  1. We stop envying everyone else’s season.
  2. We find beauty in our season.

The above was taken from an awesome sermon by Pastor Doug Reed, Englewood Church in Independence, MO on Wednesday 8.23.15.  Go to: and click on “Messages” tab.

Incredible as always. What a blessing you are in my life and in so many others.

  2. Thank you so much. This was a tiny portion of one of those unforgettable sermons that came at just the right time.
