seasons, part 2

February 26, 2016

“I have seen the work which God has given the sons of men to do.” – Ecclesiastes 3:10, New Life Version

Each season has a burden you can’t know until you’re in it.  God wants to meet you in your season.  Your season will become beautiful.  Maybe your season is ugly right now.  This season is connected to the next.

“…and to help the sorrowing people of Jerusalem.
I will give them a crown to replace their ashes,
and the oil of gladness to replace their sorrow,
and clothes of praise to replace their spirit of sadness.
Then they will be called Trees of Goodness,
trees planted by the Lord to show his greatness.” – Isaiah 61:3, New Century Version

Stop talking about your season.  It’s a humble act of great faith to celebrate and embrace your season.

The above was taken from an awesome sermon by Pastor Doug Reed, Englewood Church in Independence, MO on Wednesday 8.23.15. Go to: englewoodchurch.org and click on “Messages” tab.
