seasons, part 3

February 27, 2016

4 things you can do with your season:
1. You can kill your season as Judas did when he sold his for 30 pieces of silver. “It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of the king of Egypt’s daughter. He chose to suffer with God’s people instead of enjoying sin for a short time.” – Hebrews 11:24-25, New Century Version. You’re the only person who can keep you from your season. You can ruin your own season.
2. You can miss your season.
3. You can discount your season with how you talk about it.
4. You can maximize your season. “Each person should judge his own actions and not compare himself with others. Then he can be proud for what he himself has done. Each person must be responsible for himself.” – Galatians 6:4-5
The above was taken from an awesome sermon by Pastor Doug Reed, Englewood Church in Independence, MO on Wednesday 8.23.15. Go to: englewoodchurch.org and click on “Messages” tab.
