refuse to be offended

January 18, 2020

I recognized myself in this verse, and I’m not proud of the fact.  Today we’re going to look at Proverbs 12:16, again from The Passion Translation.

Verse 16 is under the heading, “Learning to Speak Wisely”.  (That’s something else I need to do.)  “If you shrug off an insult and refuse to take offense, you demonstrate discretion indeed.  But the fool has a short fuse and will immediately let you know when he’s offended.”
